I have been privileged to be Chairman of The Trust since Peter and I founded it in 2002. The work is greatly assisted by my fellow trustees – Fiona Bradley, Terry Coggins, Anthony Donovan and Mgr Seamus O’Boyle. My sister, Denise Gaiger, has been secretary to the Trustees since we began.
This small executive and management team has worked well together and one of the consequences is that The Trust has never had any administrative costs. Everybody gives their time voluntarily and day to day running costs are sponsored by The PG Group.
The Trust receives dozens of requests each year for financial support from charities and good causes that are all worthwhile and a credit to those “out in the field”, who are working with great enthusiasm for the benefit of others. They often thank us for our contribution but in reality it is their work that is making the day to day difference to the lives of those most in need.
We can assist them with our prayers and, practically, with our money. We would like to be able to help everyone who requests our support but this is not always possible.
Please consider helping us and we, in turn, will be able to help others in our name and in your name.
