Allchurches Trust is one of the UK’s largest grant-making charities. Its funding for churches and Christian charities supports them to care for heritage, but also to engage with their communities and address some of our most difficult social issues.
Allchurches’ grants support the repair, restoration, re-ordering and protection of churches and cathedrals of many denominations, especially where these changes support wider community use and help those in need. The Trust is particularly keen to support churches and Christian charities running projects aimed at tackling social issues such as homelessness, poverty and loneliness.
Through its Growing Lives programme, it is supporting beneficiaries to engage more young people more regularly, forging lasting relationships with families, and it’s Hope Beyond programme is supporting churches and Christian charities to respond to the changing needs of their communities in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. Allchurches does also supports Christian schools and colleges with funding for projects that help children and young people to reach their potential.
The Trust normally only funds capital projects and equipment, with the exception of its Hope Beyond programme and a small number of large multi-year grants for projects deemed transformational by trustees. For more information, see the ‘what we fund’ webpage.
