Description

The Trust was formed in 2012, bringing together two former Trusts, the Culham Educational Foundation and St Gabriel’s Trust. The former Trusts were established in the late 1970s after the closure of two Church of England teacher training colleges, Culham College in Oxfordshire and St Gabriel’s College in Southwark, London.

The Trust's supports grantees across the UK. Its area of interest is religion and worldviews education, particularly in schools, but also initiatives that support religious and worldview literacy in society more generally. The Trust supports not only Christian projects but those of all faiths and none.

Online two stage process. An expression of interest can be submitted usually after an informal conversation with a member of the Trust staff. If the EOI is taken forward a Stage 2 form is completed after a conversation with the Grants, Governance and Partnership manager or the CEO. There are usually three grant rounds per year. Awards are usually up to a maximum of £30K.
