Funding Code of Practice Consultation Events

WCVA would value your insights at this crucial stage of the development of a refresh of Welsh Government's Code of Practice for Funding the Third Sector. There are opportunities for you to engage in person or online as follows.

11 September 2024 – Llandudno
16 September 2024 – Cardiff
17 September 2024 – Carmarthen
25 September 2024 – Online
Following engagement events in the Summer of 2023, 5 new principles were agreed upon for the code.  We are now consulting on the draft guidance that expands on how each principle can be applied in practice.

The events will explore scenarios where applying the principles has:

led to positive funding experiences and impact for public sector funding recipients, or
has positively changed a funding recipient’s experience or prevented negative impacts.
We would also like to hear your thoughts on how compliance with the Code could be encouraged and applied.
