Description

A very special one off awards event by the National Churches Trust in partnership with the Marsh Christian Trust and Distributed Sound & Video Ltd (DSAV Ltd).

2020 has been an unprecedented year with many new challenges for us all. We saw an extraordinary response in voluntary efforts to help people through the initial Covid-19 lockdown and subsequent uncertainties. Church communities were frequently at the forefront of vital local initiatives to help people in need.

The National Churches Trust's ground-breaking " House of Good" report, published in October 2020, shines a light on the huge social and economic contributions made through church buildings by the dedicated people who are willing to give their time, energy and compassion to support their local communities. These Awards are a celebration of the selfless contributions made by church volunteers across the UK.

Join us at this special event to find out more.

• We will announce four winners of a special one off awards – The Marsh Church and Community Heroes Awards 2020 supported by the Marsh Christian Trust. Individuals and groups of volunteers from each of the countries of the UK with inspiring stories to tell will be celebrated.

This event is to thank the selfless volunteers who do so much to help people through their church and is for anyone with a passion for the UK's unique and irreplaceable heritage of church buildings.
