National Youth Day of Prayer

In an age of anxiety and hopelessness, God is stirring something special among young people up and down our nation.Over the last 18 months we’ve watched in awe as God has touched the lives of over 100,000 children and young people, gently increasing a deep hunger for His presence. We’ve had the privilege of facilitating youth-led prayer meetings, seen 24-7 Prayer Rooms run entirely by youth groups, and witnessed car parks full of waiting parents as their teenagers struggle to drag themselves away from the presence of God after a prayer night.

Will you join 24-7 Prayer, Dreaming the Impossible, Limitless and over a thousand young people from all denominations and corners of the UK for the National Youth Day of Prayer on 21 September 2024 in Nottingham?

The world will tell you that young people don’t ‘do’ church, but we believe the tide is turning. There is a hunger among this generation for Jesus, for unity and for authenticity and we are seeing young people turn to prayer like never before.

This September, we are making space for encounters with God which will equip the next generation to become a people of prayer. We will creatively and practically explore what it means to go deeper in prayer, with portions of the event being led by the young people, inspiring them to lead weeks of prayer in their hometowns. Our prayers never stay in the prayer room; we truly believe that this event will fuel young people with the Holy Spirit, and inspire the next generation to become the answers to their own prayers. To become the change they long to see in the world.

As an organisation that has poured your resources, time, energy and prayers into sharing the gospel with young people, we want to invite you to come and see for yourselves what God is doing in the next generation. In true 24-7 style, we want to gather together before the event kicks off to pray, share some food and hear from the instigators as to why this is a catalytic moment for the nation’s young people.
