Dr. Jonathan Oloyede
Founder & CEO
Born in Britain but bred in Nigeria, Dr. Oloyede is a medical doctor by profession but serves as a full-time apostolic missionary to the United Kingdom and Europe. In 1991 while on a three-month holiday in London, he responded to the call to Europe. He was subsequently ordained into Pastoral Ministry in 1993 and has served full-time for 28 years.
Jonathan’s overriding passion is to raise a global network of One Million Disciples of Christ across the continents and nations and to see the Vision of Jesus fulfilled through the Great Commission and Great Commandments to Love God and all people. Dr. Jonathan is the leader of City Chapel and the Convener of the National Day of Prayer UK which saw hundreds of thousands pray across multiple locations and stadiums across our family of nations.
Jonathan is blissfully married to Abbiih and lives in Kent with his two children.With 30 years full-time service in Christian Ministry and extensive missions work (over 220 trips to 45 countries), Carl has worked on over 330 projects, including 1 Million Hours of Prayer for Wales, Prayer Week, Sporting Marvels, Prayer Magazine, Looking for God, 100m and The Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer. Between 2008 and 2015, Carl served UCB initially as Prayer Coordinator, Ministry Director, and Director of Operations.
When Carl felt that season came to its natural end, he focused on writing Faith Lift (a daily devotional) and books to encourage people in their walk with God. Carl regularly broadcasts in the UK, USA, Canada & New Zealand. Connecting with approx. two million Christians per year.
Now living in his home country of Wales with Rebekah and Reuben, Carl is working on fewer projects to focus on the National Day of Prayer & Worship and Neighbourhood Prayer Network.
