Description

We are an independent Christian grant-maker and work with all Christian denominations in the United Kingdom. The principal object of the Trust is "to advance the Christian Faith" - to further the Kingdom of God.

The original Trusts represented a practical expression of the strong Christian beliefs of their founder and his desire to advance the Christian faith and to help the less fortunate members of society.

Our parish is the UK and Ireland (no overseas projects).

The Trustees have identified two main areas of interest, as follows:

1. Projects that demonstrate a Christian approach to the practical, educational and spiritual needs of people of all ages. 2. The adaptation or improvement of Church properties (including new build) with a view to providing improved facilities for use by the church and its work in the community in which it is based.

Applicants are invited to tell their meaningful story and mission in two sides of A4 paper. These two sides of A4 are reviewed by the Trustees and suggested areas include:

  • What you are doing,
  • Why you are doing it,
  • What you aspire to do differently,
  • What are your aspirations,
  • Who it is benefiting from your missional outreach,
  • How will you ensure the sustainability of the work beyond Rank funding.

Applications must be sent in hard copy. In person visits are made by the Secretary and Trustees.
