The Sir Halley Stewart Trust is a grant-making charity that awards around £1million per year to innovative research and development projects in the medical, religious and social fields.
The focus of the Trust’s work is the prevention of human suffering and distress, both in the UK and overseas. Grants range from one to three years in duration and up to circa £60,000 per project. Priority projects are those which break down religious and secular divides, involve the vocational development of key people, and initiatives that are untested and have the potential to be game-changers.
