Our founder, Cecil Jackson-Cole created the charity to tackle poverty, sickness and distress anywhere in the world as an expression of Christian love. Cecil bequeathed Andrews Property Group to the Trust creating a unique link between us. Uniting us today is a shared vision and set of values.
The Andrews vision is where we are leading the way to a world where everyone can find and enjoy the right home and community for them.
ACT has three programmes:
1. Establish – affordable homes for young people
2. Pioneers – seed funding for impact ventures with ground-breaking ideas to tackle housing-related poverty.
3. Christian Responses – funding faith-led solutions to housing opportunity and community, including our Christian book grants fund, Speaking Volumes.
Only Speaking Volumes is an open application process – around April each year.
Our Pioneers and other Christian Responses funding is actively managed and pioneers should contact us directly if they believe they address our objectives.
